It is a console game so they can't be uber. You have destructible buildings, planes blowing up like how they should be ect... You have destructible buildings, planes blowing up like how they should be ect...I've played earlier games in the series - your plane carries like 500 missiles that can track 20 targets at once, the flight modeling is not realistic at all, the HUD symbology is greatly simplified over what you'd see in a real sim, you don't land or take off etc. If that's not arcadey then I don't know what is. February 7, 201115 yr Author This isn't at all like other ace combats. Hense there being no 7 on it. It's a brand new series of Ace combat. It's ALLLLL about close quarter dog fights, and when you're close it's almost impossible to shoot someone with a missile so guns is pretty much your main gun in this game. It's over the shoulder camera only. February 8, 201115 yr I for one can't wait for this game, but I think the thread creator is advertising the game to the wrong crowd: PMDG simmers tend to be all about realism and systems accuracy first, pretty special effects second.While I completely intend to grab this game, you may have posted this thread in the wrong forum. :( Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
