AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Why does it do this. I was hoping to avoid this annoying problem with a new computer and protecting it like crazy! What would make FSX crash when I'm 1:30 into a flight in the Flight 1 cessna mustang and REX running?? And when I get the desktop, it gives the microsoft.net framework message that a program has encountered an error, and if i click continue it will ignore the issue but the message wil pop back up, and I have to click quit for the program to quit. The explanation of the problem it says, is that REX has encountered an error. Why? Why? Why??

Be more exact. Also, give your topic a better title.Anyway, you might wanna go to the site of REX to customer support to ask what causes it. Also, have you tried reproducing it? And how about maybe the error report, or your Windows error log.

It has nothing to do with REX, this error message comes up, when REX is still runnning while FSX crashed. The problem is somewhere else. Maybe try to get an errorlog or something....if you can´t get one, then you´re pretty much out of luck....could be a thousand things.Also....always shutdown REX weather Engine before shutting down FSX.

LOL. Not really wanting to laugh as we all appreciate any assistance in fixing a problem but, first you say this has nothing to do with REX, then you finish your post with "always shutdown REX weather Engine before shutting down FSX." Ah Ha! It's the REX weather engine that's causing the problem! I think anytime you have to shut down things BEFORE shutting down FSX indicates a design flaw. I don't use REX but have read it is a very good FSX program and I hope this isn't required before shutting down FSX.Best regards,Jim

The problem has nothing to do with REX, that is what I meant with that. And shutting the weather engine down before shutting down FSX only prevents that an error message occurs, but that is all. One of the programmers of REX said so on the support forum, that you have to shut down the weather engine WaSys before exiting FSX.REX is probably the best addon one can get for FSX.Saying that the problem comes from REX is just plain wrong.

I hope by now the OP has fixed the problem!! I apologize for throwing up a link to a possible fix to his stated REX error. The OP's needs to be clearer when making requests for assistance. More details about the his system and the Event Viewer log regarding the crash would be most helpful. I hope you will read my post again and see where I stated I heard REX is a very good program. DO NOT get me upset....Best regards,Jim
