So I was on vatsim tonight for Memphis FNO...They were getting a bit busy so I was initially asked to perform a hold on a STAR. I can program the FMS to display a hold at a certain waypoint, but I don't think the autopilot will fly it, am I correct?

Incorrect. The autopilot should fly the hold.

Hmmm, I actually didn't get a chance to test it this time because they did not need the hold. But I've done it before and it did not fly the holding pattern at all. It made a wide turn (I was probably doing 280kts ground speed) almost like it was trying to teardrop into the hold but never came around again. I'd have to try to reproduce it. Would the holding ability be dependent on FSUIPC payware version? I don't have the full registered version. Also, is there a certain speed I need to be at for it to work?
