Aliasing VC

Featured Replies

Hey guys!Does anybody know if you can alias a VC to an aircraft? I heard you can do that in FSX, but I was wondering if you can do that in FS9. I was planning on importing the POSKY United 777-200's VC into the POSKY Delta 767-300ER.Is that possible in FS2004?

To expand just a bit on the reply from N60JBravo, in FS2004 the VC is built into the model. It is either there or not depending upon what the original author decided to include when he/she created the model.A true FSX aircraft will have two mdl files - one for the exterior and one for the interior - i.e. the VC.

OK. Is there any way I can somehow edit the mdl file? Are there any programs I could use? My FS9 copy didn't come with Gmax
