Mouse wheel zoom...

One thing I really miss in FSX is the ability that the freeware F1View module gave you in FS9, which was the ability to move closer to, and away from the plane in spot-plane view using the mouse scroll-wheel. Is there anything available for FSX that gives the same functionality? Thanks.;)

Yeah, it can be done. Just assign a button or key to "Mouse View Direction". The center mouse button will then zoom the VC and the spot view when selected. This is how I have mine setup using a CH yoke: Button 1 - Mouse View Direction On Button 9 - Virtual Cockpit Shortcut Button 10 - 2D Cockpit ViewWhen I select button 9 for VC view I can then use the mouse wheel to zoom.Hope this works for you.Jim

Try pressing and hold the space bar and then scroll-wheel the mouse
