I was able to shut the FS9 controllers up so that they wouldn't interfere with RC4 but I can't seem to shut them up in FSX. New to FSX...I'm sure it's a simple solution but can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

If FSX has a sound mixer of its own for cockpit environment, ATC, etc., then lower that ATC volume down. I don't have FSX but perhaps the FSX help menu can tell you where that is.
