Missing AI Aircraft

Featured Replies

I installed traffic files for a number of airlines today using TTool and then ran flight simulator. I do not see AI aircraft at any airports. Did i miss something to activate the traffic?

Hmm seems that you haven't done all the steps needed, maybe the changing title of the aircraft in aircraft.cfgTry look into this guide http://users.skynet.be/robflsim/RFWAI2en.html

Needless to say, you need to have the ai traffic slider of fs9 set at 70-80% ;)I recently recommended this to someone else:
If you don't need to have "realistic" flight plans, use "Airport AI Enhancer" by Gunnar Daehling. With just a few clicks you get lots of traffic. The software will create a .bgl file for the desired airport which you can delete and everything is as before. The software is in English, the website maybe only German, I'm not sure. Just use google translator, it's worth it.

Slider is set at 100 percent. The default traffic bgl is inactive so it is not conflicting. Many of the aircraft are straight from either World of AI files or recommended AI repaints in the flight plan files downloaded from Flightsim and AVSIM. So I would expect most aircraft to show up. There a few repaints that were not available. I do have FS Live but it is not running.I installed Southwest Airlines Summer 2010 flight plans and associated aircraft in the repaint recommndations. Must the aircraft title match exactly what is in the aircraft listing? Examples are provided. From Southwest Airlines Summer 2010 aircraft lsiting1. The aircraft titles matched what was in the aircraft configuration since I did not see anything in the instructions to make some changes. Let me know if more information is needed.

From my experience the acft. title in the acft.cfg must exactly match the title in the aircraft.txt file or they won't show up in the sim.

The biggest problem is in here indeed.1.
