March 23, 201115 yr Moderator I bought this wonderful little a/c last holiday season during the sale and really love going for short flights in it, although I really dont fly it all that often.Last night however, I was flying around and after I landed and came to a stop as soon as I started to taxi the a/c started boucning all over the place. I had to hit the slew key to get it to stop. Then once I was still and started to move again the bouncing came back. It's weird becuause when I started the flight I was able to taxi to the active and take off no problem, but after I landed I couldn't taxi the darn thing.I did a google search for the problem and saw a few posts about it in various forums in the FS world, but they were brief postings about it where someone would mention the same problem, but no resolve. I then went to the IRIS site and see that they have closed their forums and you need to place a ticket to get support. I have no problem opening a ticket with them, but though I would ask here first in case anyone might have a solution that I could try before I take the time to open a ticket. I was thinking that perhaps there might be an adjustment I could make to the a/c's cfg or something to that effect that I could try to see if it sorts out the problem. My first though was that maybe it had to do with fuel load or contact points, but after trying various amounts of fuel that didn't seem to make any difference. March 23, 201115 yr Moderator I've had the a/c for a few months and fly it a lot - never had the issue. Does this happen at all airports or just one? I seem to recall a discussion in general about 'ground bumps' and force feedback settings that caused this but i can't find the link.I seriously doubt it's the a/c - if contact points etc were wrong then EVERYBODY would be having the problem. Look at add on scenery, controller settings, etc.Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Really love the single seat variant.Ok, I looked at the part of the cfg you mentinoed, and suggestions for some adjustment to those values, namely 8,9, and 10?I've had the a/c for a few months and fly it a lot - never had the issue. I can start a flight at an airport, fly around for a few minutes and then land at the same airport I took off from and then its bouncing all over the place when I try to taxi.I checked controller settings and dont have force feedback enabled, so i'm not sure what else I could check in that department, except maybe lower the realism settings perhaps? When it's apparent that you're not getting anywhere, pick the next number, say - 9. Do the same again. This is what I had to do with another aircraft, (don't remember what it was.) but I got it to work just fine. March 24, 201115 yr Author Moderator Well Paul, I fiddled with those figures today and tried about 10 or so diffferent combos and was never ablt to make it completly stop. Some figures made it worse, others made it so the plane was half sunk in the ground, and some were about like what I get from default. I noticed that when the bouncing starts the accelerometer starts going haywire as well, measuring g-forces from -2 to +5I guess I will open a ticket with them and see what they say. I may also ask Chris Brisland over at the AussieX forum since he has been painting and fiddling with that plane for a long time now as well. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

March 24, 201115 yr Author Moderator OK.. It was worth a shot. I'm not the smartest here, but let us know what he recommends.. Cheers,I will let you know what I find out.BTW, thanks for pointing me to the areas I could tweak in the cfg. Granted I couldn't figure out the magic formula of values to place in those areas, but with your guidance at least I knew where to start.I would probably fiddle with it more, but with all the stuff I have installed in FSX, each startup from the time I click the exe until I am actually sitting on the tarmac takes about 5 minutes. Times like that I wish I had a stock FSX install sitting on a spare computer just to use for testing things since a stock install launches a lot quicker than mine. Just reload the aircraft.Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Just reload the aircraft.VicThat's good to know Vic, that would save me a load of time. What's the best way to do it then, quit the flight so that you are back to the main FSX opening screen, open the aircraft.cfg and make adjustment, then start the flight again? Or pause the flight your in, opened the cfg and adjust, the refresh/reload a/c using a key stroke? Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
