April 5, 201115 yr Hey,is there any chance to use different aircraft for the default FSX missions? The normal way via the menu is disabled, but I think it would be fun to try and do some of the missions in different aircraft. Thanks,Doc FSX --- Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 overclocked to 3GHz --- HD4650 --- 4GB DDR2 Memory --- Vista 32 Bit Addon Aircraft: Wilco A318-321, Wilco 737 Classic, Wilco 777, Carenado Beech F33A Bonanza Addon Scenery: Aerosoft Bremen, Aerosoft Maldives X, Aerosoft Gibraltar X Addon Utilities: Radar Contact 4, SuperTrafficBoard Others that I can't remember ;-)

April 5, 201115 yr Author If you check "enable changes in mission" on the mission selection page I believe you can use the in-game menu to select a different aircraft. Thanks, that might in fact solve it. Sorry for being so stupid... :( FSX --- Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 overclocked to 3GHz --- HD4650 --- 4GB DDR2 Memory --- Vista 32 Bit Addon Aircraft: Wilco A318-321, Wilco 737 Classic, Wilco 777, Carenado Beech F33A Bonanza Addon Scenery: Aerosoft Bremen, Aerosoft Maldives X, Aerosoft Gibraltar X Addon Utilities: Radar Contact 4, SuperTrafficBoard Others that I can't remember ;-)
April 5, 201115 yr Wow after all these years I did not know that was a possibility either. I tried the missions but I never really liked them because they forced me to use the default aircraft. Now that I know that I can change the aircraft I am going to try more. Thanks. Mike Keigley
April 6, 201115 yr keep in mind, though if you do that with the above method, I don't think you get credit for the mission or the reward.I might be wrong on this.there is a way that you can change it, but it is a lot more involved, I mean not crazy hacking but just more to it..maybe search for it here. Ciao!
April 6, 201115 yr Author I've done the mission already, but I think it's quite useful to find the right approach speeds etc for different aircraft, if you only have to fly the approach instead of a full circuit FSX --- Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 overclocked to 3GHz --- HD4650 --- 4GB DDR2 Memory --- Vista 32 Bit Addon Aircraft: Wilco A318-321, Wilco 737 Classic, Wilco 777, Carenado Beech F33A Bonanza Addon Scenery: Aerosoft Bremen, Aerosoft Maldives X, Aerosoft Gibraltar X Addon Utilities: Radar Contact 4, SuperTrafficBoard Others that I can't remember ;-)
