April 8, 201115 yr Hello guys,Is there anyone on here who is using Goflights TQ6 throttles with Eaglesofts Citation X ver 2 for FSX and running win7 64 bit? If so, please can they tell me how to set mine up. I am not able to control the throttles at all in this aircraft. I do have a registered copy of fsuipc but I'm using the goflight software as I find the fsuipc set up rather complicated and also the throttles work fine with all my other aircraft - default and addon.I have altered the ini file to show multi throttles and also added the text file update for the keyboard shortcut support. Basically the throttles have a mind of their own, jumping forward or back intermittently and wont respond fully to the TQ6 levers. Whilst I accept that Eaglesoft dont offer support for goflight products as such, I'm hoping someone has managed to get them configured. Its a fine aircraft with a great interior and it would be a shame if I had to ask for a refund from Flight1 - only bought it yesterday! Many thanksRory

Within that document you find what Eaglesoft requires for proper throttle operation.Individual hardware settings must be made by individuals but we have included the success story and settings for Go Flight Module RP48 Information within CX20 Throttle Setup Manual. That should provide needed information. Remember that Users often confuse their own and FSUIPC settings so be sure to not cause an FSUIPC and Go flight Settings "food fight" within the simulator.:(
April 8, 201115 yr Author Thankyou for replying. I did already read the throttle setup pdf. I have a registered copy of fsuipc. I edited the ESDG ini file as instructed. With regards to personal user edit of calibration,my throttles are calibrated correctly for all other aircraft from within FSX and also calibrated using the goflight configurator program and that enables them to work with all aircraft except the citation, so I'm not sure what else I have to do. One thing though, although it didnt seem to matter either way, is how do I describe my throttles? Single or dual? The TQ6 has 4 independent throttle levers. I tried editing the ini file with both a 1 and 2 with no difference.Regards,Rory

If you have a Single Throttle Controller, the value should be set to 1, if you have Dual Throttle Controller it should be set to 2. Higher values are not supported for this aircraft.

If you don't have the modules set up as being calibrated by FSUIPC, then this isn't going to work. GoFlight modules are not even remotely compatible with such things as a CH throttle or a Saitek throttle. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
April 10, 201115 yr Author Well after many tries I have managed to get my throttles to work via fsuipc! Just completed my first short flight -EGNS-EGAC - and I'm really impressed with the aircraft. I read a review before buying from someone who was slating the virtual cockpit graphics but I for one think they're better than the wilco Citation, which I also have. Here's to many hours flying this aircraft!Rory
