Quickly running out of space on my 120gb ssd

Featured Replies

Hmmm, I have lots of space left (70GB+) on my 120GB SSD.I have UTX USA, GEX NA, Orbx PNW, and lots of payware airport sceneries, plus the usual payware planes.I recommend installing GEX and your weather textures to a main hard drive.

right now my fsx is at 90 gb with all the orbx north america stuff, fsgenesis, rex2, ultimate terrain usa, canada, alaska, europe. gex usa and europe. I only have 2 payware aircraft installed right now. Nuts.

Got the same software package like you, also some other additional airports, more than 2 payware in the sim, and it uses 84gb.

What kind of options do I have now that I'm looking at only 30gb left on my 120gb ssd drive? The sad part is, I installed from scratch, and I only have REX, Activesky, Orbx North America Blue installed.Haven't even installed REX2 OD or Ultimate Terrain and Ground Environment. I assume once those are installed I will barely have any space left.So should I return this drive and get a 250gb ssd? Or buy another 120gb ssd and run a raid?
Is there a manufacturer software toolkit for your ssd? I have Intel ssd's and they have the ToolBox utility program.
