Strange Problem with FSMeteo

Featured Replies

I have been using FSMeteo V5.1 for a long time and it has generally served me well, even in FS2004. Recently, however, when I try to connect I get a message in the top window, "try to connect to server 200" and then "downloading winds" and then all I see now are 0 winds, with no clouds, and an altimeter set at 1111!!!! This happens regardless of my location. Is there a solution to this problem? Airbus

Yes, go to his site: http://www.fsmeteo.com/ and download the FS9 version 6.3. As you can see you are just a little downlevel.CheersBob Johnson

I have also had problems with FSMeteo recently and I think all mine happen when it connects to Server #200I haven't noticed bad QNH but I do get silly winds such as 18000ft 400Kts, 22000ft 0Kts, 26000ft 63kts, 30000ft 400Kts.IIRC someone posted on here recently about the same problem and someone else posted that a fix was in the works but I have not received any emails from Marc.If there are no responses to this thread that someone has informed Marc I will shoot off an email.

Seems to be a version 6 bug. I use FS2002 with 5.2 and everything is fine, if I use 6.x I get the mentioned absurd winds.

Marc just released 6.4 and I received a copy via email last night. Registered 6.x users should be getting it pretty soon.It fixed the problem I had with FS9 not displaying low clouds and visibility although the ATIS reported FSMeteo values.Rich
