July 11, 201312 yr Honestly, IMHO, FSBuild is ancient, surprised folks still use it. Far superior IMHO is Flight Sim Commander. Because it does practically everything you could need in a flight planner - selects SID/STARs, Auto-Generates Routes, NAT Tracks, Fuel Burn based on your aircraft configuration (including engine type) and weights, exports them all, provides dispatch sheets, provides exact waypoint times/distances/wind/temps, integrates with weather engines, etc...
July 11, 201312 yr I also use EFB and find it works out great. One of the best purchase I've made in the short time I've been playing FSX. I dont know if any of you guys know this but I just realized that you can copy and paste a route directly from flightaware into the box where you select the route generator and it will put the entire route with runway based on the wind and the sids and star. Before I was doing it manually by trying to match everything up with the route on flightaware.
