Altitude Alerter remains in In HG.

Featured Replies

Hi Bob,Many thanks for the new 1.30 to 1.40 version! There is something however I can't fix : I added in title line JT8D-15 KGS -MB as per pdf manual, but the alerter will not changeto Millibars. Any ideas why? Thanks for your time,Sotiris

Are you using the SP177 autopilot? If so, the altitude alerter is slaved to the MCP and altimeter in In Hg--it's superfluous anyway in that configuration.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

No BoB, I 'm using SP77 with CIVA and TCAS panel. I also use the 1.40 update, but without the 16:10 screen, only the v1.40 gauge.

Hmmm. Nothing was changed in that part of the code in this version.Try setting "Millibars" to 1 in the TM.ini file--it should be located in the root FS directory.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

OK Bob, it worked that way with the following remark: The baro value always defaults to 0913 MB, and that the alerter value always changes at every FS start varying from 5200 to 800 ft (could vary more, that's what I noticed). Thanks Bob.P.S. Although I understand well why you do that, I 'd love to be able to use my CH products lever to adjust flaps in Tinmouse II.....I had hoped that with v1.30 you would have allowed it.

I use my CH throttle quad extreme right lever to operate the flaps. Just program it through FSUIPC.Peter

I surely would use it too Peter, if I had detailed instructions of "how to".I 've got a registered FSUIPC 3.9.8.0. In the past, I had never been successful in using FSUIPC apart from weather and miscellaneous settings. Let alone axis assignments etc.Its Help section is in most cases hard to understand and above all, the readeris considered to be an expert developer. I may speak as a beginner in FS, but, during the past 10 years I have achieved many and difficult things.Sotiris.
