April 18, 201115 yr Hey guys,I have MyTraffix (MTX) 5.3 pro. I had it installed, but ended up getting rid of it because I didn't like the models, but what I really disliked were the rather low resolution repaints. For all I know, I did enable the high resolution repaints option, but maybe I was mistaken? maybe I forgot to setup something the right way. Could you guys be so kind and show me how to get the highest possible resoltuion repaints? Could you also post some shots of your MTX aircraft? I'd like to see how they look on your machines. April 18, 201115 yr Hi Benjamin, I have been using MTX since version 4.??? and have enjoyed it and the Otstanding support from Burkhard. Version 5.3B is available now. Here are some screens>>>>
April 18, 201115 yr I also used MyTraffic and didn't like the quality of the aircrafts too. Bought Ultimate Traffic II and I think the quality of the aircrafts are far better! ======================== HAPPY FLYING Raymond
April 18, 201115 yr Author I also used MyTraffic and didn't like the quality of the aircrafts too. Bought Ultimate Traffic II and I think the quality of the aircrafts are far better!Yes, I tried UT2 also, but didn't like it because of the very limited amount of airlines in the package. Some very important airlines are missing, not to mention cargo airlines. It was the firts time I used Flight1's money back guarantee...Glen, those are some nice shots. Could you, or somebody else maybe, show some shots at airports like KJFK, EHAM, EDDF and KORD? These airports are bound to have more tarffic, and thus more airlines and aircraft types. I had to import the missing cargo, but wasn't aware that there were any important airlines completely missing. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

April 18, 201115 yr Moderator Whether an airline is important is something purely personal, but I disliked the lack of Russian carriers, for example.I agree and wasn't suggesting otherwise :-) I had though you were refering to some major carriers or something, in which case I was going to see if I could import it to make it more complete. I've found a few very small US carriers/charters missing, but they are so small that I can't even find repaints or flight plans for them here on Avsim or elsewhere. Not so familiar enough with European carriers or Russian ones though to know what's missing. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
April 18, 201115 yr Author Nice shots! I really can't remember having those planes with non-blurry repaints. What did you do in thr MTX navigator to get it to look so good?cmpbellsjc: From the top of my head I'm not too sure what bigger European airlines are missing... What bothered me most was the total lack of cargo airlines. That's what in the end prompted me to uninstall UT2 alltogether and use WoAI. If I anywya have to use WoAI aircraft, I might as well use WoAI only. That's what I like about MTX: The sheer diversity of models and airlines, and that's a very strong point of MTX. You name it, and it's in there, as glenn's shots so clearly demonstarte. But yeah, the models in MTX seem too basic to my taste - which is where UT2 has a strong selling point.WoAI is the only way out for me I think. Problem is that FSX has been acting up lately (as you know cmpbellsjc; you followed my threads ), and I think it's because of the WoAI packages I installed. At the moment I'm still testing. I reorganized the installed packages a bit, so I hope it solves anything. Otherwise I might install WoAI from scratch and see at what package it all goes wrong. If it all doesn't work out, I'll probably just reinstall MTX. But, glenn, if you can tell me how you got those liveries looking so good, please tell me. It'd be greatly appreciated! Burkhard has been working hard to get airlines and liveries accurate. As I said in above post MTX v 5.3b is now up and active for download. Many new features included.

April 21, 201115 yr Author I ended up reinstalling MTX. I first installed WoAI, and saw exactly the same problems I had before reinstalling FSX - reinstalling it four times. I then did an actual reinstalation of WoAI packages usin gthe installer, but, as always, it crashed with an unhandled exception. That was the point where my patience was running low, so I grabbed MTX and installed it. Took a flight over JFK, and for some reason, the repaints are actually pretty normal. I saw one anomaly on a 777 (I think it was a 777, can't remember), which I'll report to Renk once I don't forget. Anyway, I'm gonna do some test flying again the coming days, see if FSX doesn't have the problems it used to have in the past now that I don't use WoAI anymore.
