PMDG MD-11 and AOA

Featured Replies

Hello,I am having issues with the MD-11 when both AFS-OVRD switches on the glareshield are on. One of these issues is that the elevators lock sometimes, while on descent to my destination. they lock in the fully up or down position, and the only way to move the elevators is to apply full forward or backward pressure on the controls, and even then it continues. I have had to disable both AFS-OVRD switches to stop this. Is there any solution available, or should I consider AOA's MD-11 training?

Thanks,

Kevin L

It happens with me too, but the problem is cause when I am at overspeed.

Well you should always consider the AOA training, as it is excellent and you will get many many hours of enjoyment out of it. :(
