Hi guys, can anyone tell me where does the NGX gets the Terrain Database from? From the FsX mesh, or some other source? Thanks!(Yes, I've done the search and found no answers to this :) )

I believe it's the mesh. Like that, if you have an add-on, it'll match with the NGX.If you're talking about the terrain display.

I don't know what files inside of FSX control the terrain, but the NGX gets the info from FSX, not from another external source. From what I remember Ryan saying, if you change your mesh (Assuming that's what it is), the NGX will read that and display appropriately. So you don't have to worry about the database being incorrect, it works off of whatever you have installed.

I have FS Genisis mesh for the whole world. Will it reflect that or is it based on default fsx mesh?

Here's the quote from Ryan I was referring to in my post above yours. Somewhat old, but I assume it still holds true.
Our terrain display by the way reads the elevation mesh in real time out of the sim - what you have installed with mesh is exactly what you'll see depicted
