May 12, 201115 yr When I watched the external model of the 747 or MD11 on landing the slats, flaps ailerons etc were never how they actually were when on the original approach. Does anyone understand what I mean and will NGX have same problem. Personally I find this a big issue.p.s I believe JS41 got this external replay problem corrected.
May 12, 201115 yr This is a FSX issue that can be corrected by using FS Recorder. Phenom II X6 @4.13 Ghz -- Asus Crosshair IV Formula -- 8GB GSkill DDR3 1600 -- HD 7970 3GB
May 12, 201115 yr ^^ what he said... stop using FSX reply, download FSRecorder - it'll record every single part. David Garrison
May 12, 201115 yr Commercial Member There's no way to be realistic with a plane like this and also have the standard FS replays work correctly - FS has no way of "knowing" about a lot of the animations because they're triggered with custom panel code and not with default FSX SDK functions. May 13, 201115 yr Ryan is this the reason the Korean -900 screenshots tonight look like the wings aren't flexed? I compared them to the -800 pics and it was obvious they weren't flexed, I assumed it was something like what you described above that caused it. By the way all the screens so far have been AWSOMWE!!!Hiram Hunt

May 13, 201115 yr FSRecorder (especially the latest version) is the way to go. I use it with all my takeoffs/landings in the PMDG 747/MD-11 and it manages to play back the flaps/gear settings perfectly, even engine sounds on startup, takeoff, and landing at the correct time. Many improvements were made to the latest edition to record more variables, so if you haven't given the latest edition a try I suggest you try it. A.J. Domingo
