Buffalo Airways (North West Territories)

Featured Replies

Hi,Having been an avid fan of ice pilots and watching an episode last night i thought i would try and find scenery and aircraft for FSX to try and recreate some of these challening flights that so often appear on the programme. Initially i tried the Buffalo Virtual Airways forum but it appears you need to register as a pilot etc and i dont want to go down those lines. Whilst i can view the forum some of the links wont work. Anyway i have had a search about on avims and other websites and managed to find some aircraft, namely the Curtiss C46 Commando, with Buffalo liveries (although they are for FS9). But i now want to try and track down some scenery, i have yellowknife airport (which i think is the Buffalo base) but i want to find others like, deline, fort good hope, tulita and norman wells. Having a quick search there are some scenery downloads around, but i wondered if anyone could either recommend some or suggest any. If there is any payware scenery for this area that would be preferrable.Any help would be appreciated.Tom

I am also addicted, what a series, I really hope that it will start a new wave in aviation domain with movie and all possible entertainment.Of course ICE PILOT is more intresting in terms of learning but the BBC one Come fly with me it's raelly hilarious.

You can get most of what you want by joining the Virtual Buffalo Airline. I did and am enjoying the ride. Not much required in the way of maintaining your status with the VA, and the VA is constantly issuing new scenery for the various airports they serve, and the aircraft they fly. I think you are right - you have to be a member to get the perks. Try it. It's free. If you don't like it you can resign. But by then you will have some interesting scenery and aircraft to use.Howard2066090770105943471S600x600Q85.jpg
