I couldn't understand out how come my FO tab is not in my prompter window anymore .I did enable it in the voxatc settings tho. Now i see that voxtatc does not see my flightplans:No matter how i create the flightplans the software does nto see them and so no fo tab.I read the documentation many times but I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.it used to work and now nothing :(any tips ?thxVic

Did a reinstallation help you there? The only things (constantly) changing on a PC are the Windows updates the ones from a antivirus solution. I had it once that my fancy protection thing went "alarm!" after a signature update, leading to some unknown behaviour on a "known" system (nothing new installed). But if the VoxATC gauge is visible and present in the gauges folder of FSX, the only thing to influence it's appearance is the VoxATCServer.exe in the VoxATC folder. You can give her permanent admin rights to avoid big protection influences there. Just right click her, go to 'compatibility' and mark the admin thingy. You can also exclude her in your virus protection program to avoid a useless scan. Maybe it helps. :(

Hi,I contacted Tegwyn.he basically said that if I wanted voxatc to work as it should I should use the ms flightplanner.Thing that I don't do because I use either fsbuild, foc or electronic flight bag with updated airacs, export the flightplan into ms flighplanner and go from there.Using third party flightplanners does work off and on but something always happens along the way. For example lszh-lsgg. Voxatc gave me a sid, which I followed, after a few mins everything turns into a blur and that was it.If i use fsrealtime, terrain loads till 20% or so and then it freezes :(. This stuff only happens if/when I use voxatc,I really like voxatc but it''s driving me nuts.

Don't worry, VoxATC accepted all of my flight plans so far. Some are from Vatroute, some from FSC, some from EFB in conjunction with e. g. RouteFinder. They all have in common that, at some stage, they get exported into the FSX format. So maybe Tegwyn just said that this format has to be used in some stage of the process to initialize VoxATC.Concerning the correct use of flight plans to allow VoxATC to align a SID and STAR to it, there are some threads around. Mainly, you have to make sure that some waypoint in your planned route is a part of an available procedure, so that VoxATC for example can recognize that VOR ABC is present in your flight plan and, at the same time, also defines a waypoint of a current SID in use.Where and how you build your flight plans fulfilling these criteria isn't important at all, that's my experience so far. Here's a thread to look at regarding the whole SID/STAR thingy. But your opening problem with VoxATC was that FO tab, right? Did you manage to activate it again or is it still unavailable? That seems like a more basic thing to look at first. The flight plan thing then shouldn't be a big problem. That FSRelatime was used here too, it often triggers a scenery reload which drove me nuts and may mix up some other programs then. Maybe you can leave it out for some test flights to avoid any influence there.

He said that... quote... "You do need to create flights as described below to have VoxATC working properly ...". No problem with the sids&stars yet.

Yes, I still have that problem. I will leave fsrealtime alone for awhile. I like that little addon tho especially for transoceanic flights..

CoolP is right, VoxATC only needs a proper and legitimate FSX flight plan - that's the XML type of plan. As long as it's proper, the source of the .pln should be moot. For instance I know VoxATC works perfectly with AivlaSoft EFB flight plans that are auto-loaded into the FSX flight planner system. As a matter of fact my aircrafts' checklist all have these three items early in the preflight - after loading weather, etc.:

Then it's off to skip the radio check and time to chat up clearance....

That other thread looks like it's working for you now. :(
Yes that did the trick.I just done my first complete flightplan.I got my sids and stars.ATc told me to go around..and then it went silent lol .Vic

Ah, seems like it still happens in some situations. Did the Mic press help there? Or just say something or try the menu with pressing "0" (zero) and choosing an option there.

No, it did not help.I did ask for another rwy, or the same runway again and again but atc told me something like "not at this time". Not sure why.maybe I should ask Tegwyn.Vic----------mEdit:I just checked the troubleshooting section of the documentation and it says:Quote-----ATC refuses requests There are a set sequence of calls expected when you arrive or depart an airspace. If you call a controller without being handed over properly or make a request at the wrong time you may get a response such as "Cannot approve clearance at this time". This can also occur when you make a request for a clearance that has already been given you. One remedy is to request a frequency change (always approved) and make initial contact with the controller again."end of quote----------I need to try that.
