May 27, 201115 yr Hi guys,Just a quick query regarding a possible addition for the NGX and/or future PMDG products. I've seen a couple of products by other developers that created their own push-back tug that could be repainted in any livery to go with the aircraft. This was instead of the default MSFS tug. Would PMDG consider doing something like this for the NGX as a future update or for future products like the B777? Matthew Bellette

I heard that was the cause of them being unable to model rain on the windshields... I might be out far far deep in the woods with this one though
May 28, 201115 yr It could very well be possible. On PMDG's facebook page, in the photos of the Transavia NG on the ground with external ground carts, it is mentioned that those carts have the same livery as the airliner they are servicing:"If you look closely, you will also notice that the ground equipment is customized for each airline" A.J. May 28, 201115 yr But that's because FSX doesn't have ground support vehicles. A pushback tug would not have big priority for them. As the unknown poster said above, PMDG have reached the limit of animations in the NGX. They even removed the cockpit window animations, which were already modelled, from the package to add other higher priority ones. Also, the ground vehicles seem to be static. All they do is stand there, beside the aircraft, to provide power and air supply. The tug would have to have wheel animations, the tow pipe would have to be mobile... PMDG gives priority to animations related to operations. Things that will make the product more ralistic, that will add "feel" to the plane. Secondary animations like a tug would be included only if they have enough room to add more stuff to the package and I think that's not gonna happen. Matheus Mafra
May 28, 201115 yr Commercial Member There's no pushback tug, sorry - we have the ground power and air carts, but as Matheus said, they're static. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
