If youre only going to play FSX then go for nvidia, if you want a real good bang for buck if youre playing other games aswell then go for 6950 in crossfire and unlock them to 6970s.Im never gonna buy the "latest" gfx card anymore, their drivers are crap, always loads of problems and the FPS difference is just lame, nobody really needs 200 fps, as long as its over 40 im fine. and the extra money for the latest can easily be spent on an extra SSD or better cpu.(I went with the 9800GX2 when it was brand new - worst mistake ever, loads of problems - i spent so much time with that computer trying to get it to work, its just insane)Replaced it with a 4870X2 when it was brand new aswell, got tons of problems with them.)This is why you never find the latest gfx cards in for example a dell, because they offer their clients stability over performance.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone but I think the NGX has run out of animation space that is allowed for an aircraft in FSX...? I heard that was the cause of them being unable to model rain on the windshields... I might be out far far deep in the woods with this one though

If people already are thinking this, MSFlight has failed.Imo flight should look better than FSX is today with all the high end payware,But we know so little yet, and these pictures are called previews for a reason. Btw regarding the clouds, I hope they make them more dynamic than in FSX, so that it doesnt feel like your flying through a .gif turning towards you at close range giving you the 2D spinI

Just because FSX turned out bad doesnt mean the next "FLIGHT" will be,if you get 20-30 fps in FSX with a modern computer today with addon scenery(which is in my opinion BARELY/UN-playable, should be atleast over 40fps for a smooth experience) and the new game engine for Flight turns out to be a success, in other words looking like FSX/better with addons - as standard but with 60 fps locked, im not sure how long people like you will "stay with fsx".FSX Is a joke, think about it: released 2006 and still runs like its in beta 5 years later? with not one but TWO service packs released? I have a computer for around 3000 USD and if all my other games ran like FSX I would probably sell my computer on the spot and get a new hobby.Its just the whole game, so unstable and so many problems, many ghettomod fixes, many alterations with the game config outside the game, etc, etcAfter finally getting FSX stable on my computer a year ago I still hesitate everytime I use the menu, everytime i load a new aircraft, everytime i buy an addon... It feels like youre balancing the whole game on the tip of a needle.Yes, id rather throw all my FSX addons into the bin just to get a fresh start, in fact, i cant WAIT til the day comes when i type "FSX" into the search bar and nothing appears - in flight we trust.

I dont care if they redesign the whole game engine, its just good, id rather repay all my money for addons using that new game engine (if its good) than using the current piece of ###### game engine FSX is using..

Hi,I just bought the MD-11X package and after a clean install and adding some liveries.When I try to load the MD-11 it doesnt work, FSX just freezes and i get a "fatal error".Any ideas?I've also removed the MD-11 via the control panel and cleaning the registry of errors but even after another sterile install it wont work....Help Please! EDIT: Ive tried to research a bit around the problem and F.Y.I. I do have the wilco 737.. lol
