May 30, 201115 yr I saw a user on youtube merge the business jet model with the passenger model in order to use the HUD on the ifly 737. Does anyone no how to do this? ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10
May 30, 201115 yr I presume you put the BBJ cockpit model in the NG model folder, and then change the config file in there to point to that instead of the normal NG cockpit.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
May 31, 201115 yr Author I did not quite figure it out. Anybody else know how to do this? (or chock). Maybe if you could be just a bit more specific (Im not very good at merges). But I appreciate your help. ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10
May 31, 201115 yr Author nevermind I figured it out ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10
May 31, 201115 yr I did not quite figure it out. Anybody else know how to do this? (or chock). Maybe if you could be just a bit more specific (Im not very good at merges). But I appreciate your help.Basically you copy the BBJ2 Panel folder to the 800 folder (BBJ for the 700, and BBJ3 for the 900) (Different name of course so you don't overwrite the original, say panel.bbj2)Make a copy of the model folder (rename like above model.bbj2)Copy in the BBJ2 interior model, and make the change to the model.cfg.Then all you need to do, is modify the texture.cfg file to point the Basetexture folder to the BBJ2 folder. So change the linefallback.1=..\basetexture tofallback.1=..\..\iFly 737-BBJ2\BaseTextureRemember to make the necessary adjustment to the aircraft.cfg fltsim section to point to the new panel and model entry. May 31, 201115 yr Author tf51d,After I did the merge, some of the coordinates are off and some items are missing. (the mcp coordinates are off, the backup altimeter is missing, etc) I think I screwed something up. ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10
May 31, 201115 yr Author also due to the way the repaint was installed (fsx southwest 737), there are no flight sim entries for this repaint. Is there anyway to work around this? ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10

May 31, 201115 yr also due to the way the repaint was installed (fsx southwest 737), there are no flight sim entries for this repaint. Is there anyway to work around this?Since you are working with the 700 did you use the BBJ panel? As I stated, or the BBJ2 which I used for an example? (Used for an 800 merge)Tell me step by step what you did, and I'll try and help you fix it. (Let's take it to PM)As for creating the Flightsim section, you could either do it the manual way like other models, or use the My Fleet utility in the configuration manager. Doc was included with release. Note if you use the My Fleet utility, it will be necessary (If you use ATC) to manually add the ATC_Parking_Types and ATC_Parking_Codes manually. I suggested IFly include this in the My Fleet utility so we may see it later in an update, but for now it omits these settings. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
