Repeating "N1" callout

Featured Replies

Lately several times during each flight the copilot will call for N1, even when I'm in cruise, at altitude and in VNAV. I switch back to VNAV and he calls for N1 again. Looked through the forum but couldn't find any answers. Would appreciate your help. I'm sure I am doing something wrong.Jeff EvenRocklin, CA, USA

Hi Jeff,My guess is that that speech recognition system is 'hearing' an N1 command (even though you may not directly be saying it... it could be triggered by some other ambient background noise). While in cruise, try enabling 'hard mute'.Also check your speech engine CVR log to see if "N One" is being heard.Best,
