Hello, I've recently bought the PMDG MD-11. It's a great airplane first of all. I've already done a few flights and everything worked fine. Until today. I was doing a flight from KDFW to KORD. When I was approaching 14L, everything suddenly froze for about 3 seconds, then it continued normally for about 10 seconds, and then another freeze of 3 seconds. This goes on and on and on. I'm having good fps, even over big cities, about 20 fps. I'm not having this problem on all airports though. Until now I only had it in KORD and KJFK. Does someone know what the problem is, and could you help me please? Because this is really annoying, thanks in advance. By the way, I have a quite good pc, and I'm not having this in any other airplane. If it's so close to landing, it's more likely a scenery issue. Flying at altitude over cities makes no difference because the details aren't rendered at altitude. Check to make sure that you don't have any other add-ons running. The latest service pack for ASE will cause hangs for up to 20 seconds for me (so I reverted to SP1), so if you are running active sky, that's a possibility.

How high do you have your AI traffic set? KORD and KJFK are heavy hitters when your AI is set high, this could be your issue. Turn your AI down and see what happens.

I already tried everything, reïnstalling the PMDG MD-11, reinstalling FSX. Turning all, and I mean all sliders totally to the left. And it doesn't happen on the biggest airport in the world, KDFW, with AI turned to max. It's only happened on KORD. But after a long time of searching on the internet, I found out that if you have an FSDreamteam airport installed, that you have this interruptions on the airport where you do not have FSDreamteam sceneries yet. Like on KORD. So I tried LSZH and LSGG, and exactly the same problem. After installing the trial version of FSDreamteam sceneries on all those locations, the problem was solved. So I'm probably gonna buy the other three, I like KJFK too. So problem solved. So problem solved. I will leave this topic open for other people having this problem, but replies aren't needed anymore, as I already found out the problem.

Hi i got fs dreamteam airports installed and dont have any probs as previous post suggest and my sliders are to the right only the auto gen is set to normal so must be some other conflict happening there, plus got orbox na and pnw scenery as well
