June 5, 201114 yr Hi guys, what's up ?i got a problem with the start-up sequence with IFly 737ng ( all models), because, after copilot test the ENGINE/ APU FIRE WARNING SYSTEM & EXTINGUISHERS, he don't set the position lights, and he don't set left forward fuel pump on.... he turn on APU before this...the right way would be if the co-pilot of (fs2crew) set left forward fuel pump on and then start APU...Please, if any people can help me, I shall be very grateful.

Well, I'll let Damien comment... he's flies the thing for real and he's the one who scripted everything.Passing the mic over to Damien...(Remember though that there's no absolute hard and fast way of doing... a lot can vary from airline to airline and from person to person).Cheers, B. Hello cassior,Regarding the APU and fuel pump usage, on aircraft Without DC Operated APU Fuel Pump,.... Whenever the APU is operating and AC electrical power is on the airplane busses, you operate at least one fuel boost pump to supply fuel under pressure to the APU to extend the service life of the APU fuel control unit. Key points here being "aircraft without DC Operated APU Fuel Pump" and "Whenever the APU is operating and AC electrical power is on the airplane busses" AC Power refers to power coming from the APU or GPU, That being said, the APU does not require fuel pumps to be on to be started,.. After the APU is started you should operate at least one AC boost pump to supply fuel under pressure to the APU to extend the service life of the APU fuel control unit.Regarding the Position lights, As a general rule the position light are on anytime the aircraft is 'powered up', that is an APU or GPU is powering the electrical system of the aircraft. in FS2Crew the Position lights are turned on after APU or GPU is on and the F/O is doing his Preflight Procedure which is correct.RegardsDamien WeekesCaptain 737 BBJ Damien WeekesCaptain 737NG / A319/20/21
