June 13, 201114 yr Hi, I recently downloaded the iFly 747 for FS9. The autopilot in this aircraft can not be adjusted with the standard keys as defined in the FS9 options. So to you FSUIPC users, is it possible with the registered version to assign these keys? I may buy a license then. Switchboard - Track Your Simulator Add-ons - Throttle Quadrant

June 15, 201114 yr Doesn't IFly have a support forum?Download FSUIPC3 from here and run the .exe to install it. That way you can look at the user and advanced user guides and insure the latest FSUIPC is installed:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlhttp://forum.simflight.com/topic/67418-fsuipc-the-ifly-737ng/page__p__422532__hl__ifly__fromsearch__1#entry422532 might be of interest regarding smoothing throttle control and more so rgarding controller button assignments:http://forum.simflight.com/topic/68419-nose-gear-light-gear-updown/page__p__427422__hl__ifly__fromsearch__1#entry427422 which deals with button macros. A button macro sends out one or a sequence of keystrokes so you should be able to assign your controller button to output keystrokes IFly requires. You are responsible, however, to insure there are no conflicts with FS assignments. Also, if the IFly FMC has a hot spot to turn on keyboard input for typing into the scratchpad that probably will need to be disabled so it does not interfere with by capturing the keystroke sequences you programed into the keyboard macros. You can search Pete's support forum for IFly on the main page. Also check out User Contributions forum. If you register for the support forum (free) you can post a query there after searching it:http://forum.simflight.com/forum/30-fsuipc-support-pete-dowson-modules/
June 15, 201114 yr Doesn't IFly have a support forum?Yes, Ron, but it is only for the commercial 737NG product, not for the old freeware 747.
June 16, 201114 yr If you can assign via a config menu or keyboard strokes are already defined in the IFly 747 then as I stated you can assign keystrokes via FSUIPC by pressing a button on your controller. If that is the case I would think you are good to go.Is that what you are after?
June 16, 201114 yr Author That gives me something to read. Thanks so far! Switchboard - Track Your Simulator Add-ons - Throttle Quadrant
