OC'ed my i7 950 from 3.07 to 3.81 using 1333Mhz RAM. I can't really push this any higher for this speed.Is is worth getting the 1600Mhz RAM for higher OC or is it not worth the extra £60?

Yes, I would, depending on how far you want to push your cpu.

Only you can decide if it is worth the money.If you have a decent motherboard and aftermarket CPU heat/sink fan assembly then you should be able to get your 950 to 4.2GHz. If you want your ram to run at a decent speed at 4.2GHz then you will need to get the 1600MHz ram.It is not so much the 1600MHz ram as it is getting your CPU to 4.2GHz and you need the 1600MHz ram so your ram can run at a decent speed since your CPU is now at 4.2GHz. In my opinion getting your CPU to 4.2GHz is worth the extra money. FSX will love the 4.2GHz CPU speed.
