When I was a controller at ORD in early 80s, North Central was flying their 580s in and out of there all day. They were very flexible in that they could "slam dunk" and keep their speed up as long as needed until close in. One of our controllers married one of their 580 pilots. North Central sometime later in the eighties became part of what became Republic...which later became part of NWA......for all of you younger folks.

Have some pics from my virtual NCA LDS-767, kinda think the champs should ride in something better than a seven-five ( They do occasionally ride in a 330 :-( ). On the Port side is the late 70s font, Starboard side is the mid-late 70s font. Both winglets have the mugshot of the "Herman" merger of NCA & Republic. The shots were taken using Eric 0' Link's fine representation of GRB the way it is now. ( Available in the Library) , all FS-9 Roman

Hi,I would agree. Download and install the Sierra Pacific Base Pack from my CV-580 page, and then add the North Central textures to it (even the FS2002 ones will do). Make sure to add the most recent VC textures from the base pack to your NCA texture folder (details in the text file).Hope this helps,
