FSDreamTeam KDFW Problems

Featured Replies

Hi, I purchased the FSDreamTeam Dallas Fort Worth international airport scenery and I have had a major issue with it. When I load the scenery up, I notice the runway has no texture, there is no Tarmac, and no terminal ( which led to floating jetbridges). I don't no what I did wrong, and I think the way I downloaded it was sketchy. I purchased the scenery directly off the FSDreamTeam site. I hope someone can help. Thanks, Stormpilot

You need open the addon managaer up the fsx menu and enter your serial number you recieved via eamil to activate the scenery. You will need to restart FSX for it to take effect though.Sean

For some reason i never found add-on manager and possibly don't have it. If you know exactly where add-on manager is, please tell me, and possibly were to get it. Thanks, Stormpilot

If you go to the FSDreamTeam website, there's a link to the standalone addon manager there. But it should have been installed as part of the scenery installation. Normally, if you go to the "Add-Ons" pulldown menu in the FSX menu bar, it's located there.

When I install the add-on manager from FSDT it never appears in the add-on menu. Could it be located in FSIPCU? Thanks, Stormpilot

The best for you is to ask for support here:http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?board=40.0I am sure Umberto will help you immediately.

You need to check your dll.xml to see if its properly placed as it starts running from the dll.xml. Did you get any message about errors with your dll.xml when you were installing the scenery? After installation you should have 2 dll.xml one named dll.xml_before_addon_manager.xml and one just named dll.xml.It should look something like this:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?><SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Addon Manager</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>bglmanx.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> If you don't have this then the addonmangager will not show up in your fsx title bar.Sean
