AI Landing Lights - Necessary Files to make it work?

Featured Replies

Hi All,Still have a landing light issue with my AI, using My Traffic as the AI program. I have added the panel.cfg for Nicks AI Exhaust and that works and the Shockwave lights config also works. The lights on the AI show up but they do not illuminate the runway, they work but dont illuminate the runway. All of my flyable aircraft lights illuminate the runway. So its this a Halo.bmp or spotlight.mbp issue or something else.I have added the panel config for Nick Ai exhaust and for Shockwave lights and added the lights section for the aircraft.cfg._______2 THINGS I NOTICED: do I need to add panel= to the main description of each aircraft??AND I noticed that some aircraft.cfg files are called SIM.CFG - Can these stay as sim.cfg or do I need to rename these to aircraft.cfg??_______I am stumped here folks and help would be greatly apreciated. Many thanks in advance..........

You should ask that at MyTraffic forum, the developer is the moderator so he could give you best advice. I'd tell you but I don't know.I use MyTraffic and Ultimate Traffic 2... with UT2 I added Shockwave lights to all their airplanes (http://bleedair.de/u...ffic-2-fsx.html). I didn't add any lights to MTX models.

Do shockwave lights get rid of the overblown 'glow' from the AI landing lights?

No, I have found that a modification to the halo.bmp texture addresses that issue. I am using a texture that has a reduction to the upper-left image.
