There have been numerous topics started, closed, deleted that had little or nothing to do with PMDG and some not even aviation-related. Instead of closing and/or deleting these topics, perhaps it may be an idea to add an "Off Topic" forum where PMDG fans can discuss pretty much anything and everything (within the AVSIM forum rules)? Just a thought.

I'd say it's more like "Hangar Chat". Now I swear I've seen that word around here... :(

Gents-AVSim has asked us to be a bit more controlling on the types of conversations we host here in the PMDG forum, so you will see a bit of redirection taking place on topics that are really unrelated.The fact is: we have never had to do such redirects, but this forum has become significantly more busy than ever in our history.We very much enjoy the interaction with (most of :( ) you, and this is why you get to talk to US, the PMDG Development team, rather than some volunteer who can only say things like "I'll relay that to the development team and let you know what they say."In fact- we have developed some very nice friendships with many of you- and it is the casual nature of discussion here that makes this a great forum.That being said, sometimes there are threads started here that are more conversational in nature and have absolutely nothing to do with PMDG... This could have the unintended effect of reducing traffic and conversation in other forums- and none of us (you and we) want that...So lets please just try to keep things mostly on target and it shouldn't be an issue.
