July 11, 201114 yr Hay guys, I am having some trouble with the the auto brakes. When i set them before landing the INOP light stays on so they dont activate on touch down. I am using v1.32 with Lee Hetherington’s TCAS gauge if that helps.Thanks.
July 20, 201114 yr I'm encountering the same problem. INOP light illuminates with any Autobrake setting and also with RTO.
July 22, 201114 yr These problems are usually caused by a brake axis that's non-zero or spiking to nonzero values.Also, the autobrake inop light at settings from 1-4 during ground ops is normal--you can only set it inflight. July 23, 201114 yr Is there a way of fixing it ?Make sure there are no other axis or button assignments made to the brakes. Use FSUIPC to set a null zone if you are using a lever or other hardware axis for brakes. If the controller is spiking, you may need a cleaned or new potentiometer on that axis, as all it takes is a momentary input on any brake axis to deactivate the autobrakes.
