I enter many manual flight plans into the MCDU of the MD-11 and wonder if and how I can save themso that they are available the next time.Is there a way to do it from the MCDU ?Another method I was trying is to alter an existing flight plan ( in PMDG/Flight Plans ) but had nosuccess.Can anybody provide some suggestions ?Hubert Werni

Yes, read page FMS.10.16 of the Flight Management System Operating Manual :( .Andy Lawton

Hubert, if you go to your 'addon's at the top of the screen while with the aircraft, select 'PMDG' you will see a 'Load - Save' option. Just click on whatever one you need. :)

<br /><br /><br />But so you save the panel state and not the flight plan alone. To save the flight plan without the panel state you have to use one of the FMC pages. Best regards John

Thanks.I started studying the manuals but did not get to that chapter yet.
A search would do the trick...You can find the section of your interest on page 28 of the delivered PMDG MD-11 FMS Manual. I guess you cannot alter a specific F-PLN that has been added to your database already, using the REF-page of the MCDU; but I might be wrong and therefore will give a short testing period a try by myself.best regards,toby
