July 14, 201114 yr Hi,I am running FS2009 with Ultimate Terrain & FreeFlow Florida scenery. I have a problem with the Florida shorelines showing the shape of 90' step type angles. I have had this problem in the past & I used to be able to achieve normal shorelines by checking the "Enhanced Lakes, Coasts, Rivers" under the "Water" section in Ultimate Terrain USA. That used to work, but now it doesn't. I tried going back to the FS2004 default setting using the Ultimate Terrain configurator but it had no effect. Several years ago, I had the same problem but have forgotten what I found for the cure then. I have had to reinstall FS2004 since then & have the problem back. I don't know if there is any connection, but I have just been reinstalling a different version of KeyWest Intl(KEYW) before I noticed this shoreline condition again. Was hoping someone might have some info on how to get my normal shorelines back again. Thanks, bobandersonWindows XP ProAMD Athlon XP 2700Radeon 9700A7N8X2.02048 MB DDR RAM3 - WD 250GB 7200rpm HD's
July 14, 201114 yr I think you may need a file FFFL4UTv1.3.zip. I think maybe from the UT USA site.scott s..
July 16, 201114 yr Author I think you may need a file FFFL4UTv1.3.zip. I think maybe from the UT USA site.scott s..Thanks Scott for the reply. I did reinstall that file, but unfortunetly it did not change the problem.Bob
July 16, 201114 yr I had that problem when I installed the FreeFlow Florida. I didnt have UT installed though. I hated the square shorelines, so I uninstalled it.
July 16, 201114 yr I think it may also have to do with the order placement of the sceneries. I remember this happening to me at one time and I had to "re-arrange" the scenery so that it was higher or lower in the scenery hierachy. Alexander Alonso
July 17, 201114 yr Author I have double checked & arranged the correct order in the scenery library. I also have tried uninstalling FreeFlow Florida & shutting down Ultimate Terrain USA & I still have the same 90' stepped appearence of the shoreline. It's got me stumped.
July 17, 201114 yr I had this same issue with Free Flow. I'm not absolutely positive, but I think there was a utility included with the FreeFlow package that you could run to put everything back the way it was. If not, you could re-install the default scenery files off the simulator install disk.Robert Robert J. July 28, 201114 yr This issue was resolved by Bob uninstalling his UTUSA and reinstalling it. He had the same shoreline issues with other areas unrelated to FREEflow Florida. Harry G.FREEflow.Com
