July 14, 201114 yr I am running with 2 GB DDR2 @667, will 3 GB make a difference ?Specs :Intel E5700 3.0 Ghz2GB DDR2 667HD 5450 1GBWin 7 64 bit.320 GB 160 GB (FSX& FS9 installed on this) Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
July 14, 201114 yr No, cause this CPU has only dual channel support, so it won´t use 3 GB correctly. Better you get 4 or stick with the 2. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

I did install Acceleration but it killed my FPS, so now have SP1 & SP2. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

Usually the best results with dual channel RAM are seen when they occupy the first two default RAM slots with identical matched RAM (when all RAM slots are occupied there is some cpu impact over just having 2 filled - maybe not significant.FSX is quite happy 32/64-bit with 4GB RAM.RegardsPeterH
