Flag on NGX Fuselage (Wrong?)

Featured Replies

Guys,I don't know if this has been mentioned before, if it has I really apologise. While watching Nicks walkaround video I noticed that the 'Union Jack' flag on the starboard side of the NGX's fuselage is wrong.Has this been corrected in the latest version? I hope that it has, because if it hasn't it will stick out like a sore thumb every time I use the outside camera.Onwards & Upwards!!Jim Tierney

Nope they look correct to me. The hoist for the flags would be on the right side not the left on the starboard side of the NGX. Also St. Patrick's cross (red diagonals) are supposed to be offset and not have reflection symmetry (called the counterchange of saltires). See images below:hoist on lefthoist on right (As on starboard side of NGX)

I placed the flags on the starboard fuse with the flag pole in the leading position. The flags are placed according to research I've done for correct display. Occasionally I do err, but in this case I got it right ;-)Pete Mac PaintPMDG Graphic Designer

yea they are suppose to be hoisted as if the flags are blowing in the wind opposite the direction of flight ie the flag should look reversed..Jamal
