Servers and Arrangements

Featured Replies

On the day, and the next few days after the NGX is released there will be a huge demand put on the servers and mirrors of PMDG. Which means way down under, we are likely to get slow and broken downloads. If other retailers will be able to on-sell the download, will it be exactly the same as that from PMDG? And who will they be, so we can share the load by going to one of them. Therefore along with price which we have been given, it would be good to have some idea as to how the demand will be managed.

KInd regards,

They recently updated their servers, so apprantly it will be much better than when the 747 was released, so lets hope non problems. Anyway, no need to download it the very second its released, just wait a couple of days and you should have no problems LOL yeah right says everyone!!!

From reading between the lines I'm lead to believe the 737 will be in the cloud in more ways than one, so download speed shouldn't be an issue even in the hours immediately after release.

Cheers, Andy.
