Texture problem?

Hello,"Emile are you running any Scenery Tech Landclass products by any chance or any other lanclass programs? If so I think I know what the problem is" Yes I do. I use some Scenery Tech landclass. Is it due to this?
Yes, it's most likely due to the Scenery Tech landclass products. To make a long store short, when I had my FSX set up by FS-GS, they explicitly told me to not install the Scenery Tech Hard Winter Textures, Ice,or slope technology from Scenery Tech Landclass product if you are using or are going to use GEX products, ie. GEX North America, Europe, etc. Although I suppose it is possible they could effect you stock FSX textures as well if your not running GEX products. So bacically what I think is happening is that your Scenery Tech landclass products are calling for the Hard Winter or Ice textures and thus they are being display as what you showed in your screen shots. To fix it you'll probably have to uninstall your Scenery Tech landclass products and then reinstall them but DONT select the Hard Winter Textures, Ice,or slope technology when you reinstall them again. I don't thing you will have to rerun the GEX installers again since the reinstalled landclass wont be calling for those textures, but the only way to know for sure is to test it after you uninstall and then reinstall the Scenery Tech stuff. You could also as a test go into you scenery.cfg via the FSX UI and disable the Scenery Tech entries and then do a flight over the same areas that you posted the pics of and see if the snow caps are gone. If they are then you will know for sure that it's the Scenery Tech causing the problem. More than likely this is the cause of you problem though.Let me know how you turn out after this.Regards
