For those of us who have not had the time to fully learn the detailed FMC programming etc. will it be possible to load a 737 at a gate with it's engines running, pushback, taxi and take-off and fly the bird? RegardsKen

Of course. Just don't use VNAV or LNAV. The FMC is rather easy to use (it all seems complicated at first), all you need is your route, weight, and take off data really.

Ken, I am sure the tutorial will be easy to follow, how about now is the time to learn how to fly aircraft as they should be?? Honestly when you learn to fly complex you will never ever go back

The plane loads with its engines running, so yes, no problems at all to do what you describe. That said, the first tutorial for the plane covers a flight from sitting on the runway with the engines running, all the way to shutdown (You can stop prior to shutdown if you'd like). If you ever want to try to learn the FMC programming, the tutorial would be a great way to go about it.

I'm sure they'll be an engine running panel state and you'll be able to import plans into the FMC from FS but you'll still need to set up weights and fuel I would have thought. Sorry Ken, but if that's your attitude to flying I'd save yourself £40 a stick with the default. unless you intend to start learning the systems as you go along.
