FSUIPC in Windows 7

Featured Replies

Unfortunately i ahve had to switch to Windows 7 and when I have re-installed and copied across the files from m old beloved FS9 FSUIPC doesnt seem to work. Is there a reason for this. I am using version 3 Do I need to buy a new version for windows 7. I am beginning to dislike Windows 7! Bring back Win XP Best Wishes,Chris EGBB

Yep , do a bit of research first and you will discover FS9 rus a hell of a lot better on a more modern PC with Win7. Just got to instal it in the right place.

Recent updates to FSUIPC include change due to Win 7 32 and 64. To get your upgrade you do not have to purchase FSUIPC again for the same major vesion (FSUIPC3). You first install the base package from http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html over your existing one. Your existing key should work. You then install any newer interim version from http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/ being sure to check the release notes. If you have a problem with your key read these;http://forum.simflight.com/topic/50413-read-this-if-you-have-problems-getting-your-key/http://forum.simflight.com/topic/50412-read-this-if-you-lose-your-fsuipc-or-widefs-keys/ There is no charge for updating FSUIPC3 for newer FSUIPC3 versions, and no charge for updating FSUIPC4 to newer FSUIPC4 newer versions.
