August 3, 201114 yr Hi All, Just encountered a [really] strange issue with my autopilot on a few planes, and wondered if anyone else has it (or knows a fix for it, of course... ) So, it seems that on some planes (not all) and at some times (not always) when I try inputing my speed, heading, or altitude into the different screens, they only increase in increments of 10. It mostly happens on planes where you physically click on the screens, and not the knobs (eg. the default 747 and a freeware Cessna Citation, and pretty much any plane that has this feature). I know it's not THAT big a deal, but it's a bit annoying when the controller on VATSIM tells you to turn to a heading not by 10's. I then have to round to that number and hope the controller doesn't ask for a course correction. So, does anyone know what on earth I mean? And if so, how do you handle it? Thanks, Matt
August 3, 201114 yr There is a setting to counteract this in the registered version of FSUIPC. It is called: FixControlAccel=Yes If you happen to own a licensed FSUIPC copy - that is what I would suggest. Bert
August 3, 201114 yr Author Thanks. I don't plan on getting the FSUIPC yet (not the registered version anyway). It seems to work sometimes, and when I reset it when it's acting up it fixes it. So I guess it will be fine for now then. Thanks, Matt
August 3, 201114 yr I think there is an entry in one of the cfg files to correct this. Can't remember which one off hand though. A search of the forums (or google) might provide the answer. Probably the panel.cfg.
