August 5, 201114 yr Kinda crazy over at the PMDG forum so thought I'd try here. I use TrackIr5 and EZCA and they work splendidly together. My issue is when panning around the VC I hear the engine sounds fading in and out. The only way I hear full engine sounds are when I'm turned 180 degrees, as if looking backwards. This is not specific to the NGX , the JS41 also behaves similarily. I've tried disabling both TrackIr and EZCA but the problem persists. Any ideas ? cheers greg

The engine sound gets louder when I look back out the rear cockpit windows. Shane Gavin
August 5, 201114 yr Author Thanks Shane, Can't say I like this ' feature ' . I mean I can barely hear the engines looking forward, and I'm missing the awesome spooling up sounds. I have Engine Sounds in the FSX setting turned way up...maybe it's my older speakers or some internal sound setting. I"ll try later with my usb headset.cheers
August 5, 201114 yr Hi Greg, Sounds to me like you have surround sound enabled on your PC / soundcard and you are only using stereo speakers - make sure that you sound card is configured to run in Stereo mode and not Surround mode. Also, make sure that you have any unique sound card effects like ambience, noise cancellation, 3D effects all disabled. Cheers, Armen L CholakianPMDG Sound Engineer
