Hi as the subject says I am having a problem with some click spots in the VC mainly on the Overhead but there are a few more on the lower panels that do not work either. When I place my mouse over where the click spot should be the mouse cursor does not change at all, it just acts as if there is nothing to click there. Even the HGS click spot to show and hide the HGS reflector does not work. Seems mainly that its the more complicated multi click-spot spots that are the ones that do not work. Anything inside the red boxes in the image below doesn't work at all. Any ideas? I've tried a fresh install run as admin but that makes not difference. Windows 7 64bit UAC off, FSX in C:\FSX, new build i7 2600k, GTX 580, fresh install of FSX fully patched to Acceleration and working fine otherwise. I've also tried with and without EZdok and a couple of other addons I have installed. Edit: forgot to add that the 2d versions of these INOP functions do work OK. EDIT2: Models tried so far PMDG Livery and Ryanair livery 800WL and PMDG Livery 900WL Cheers,Andrew Baker.

OK so I tried the PMDG liveried 800 (no winglets) and that seems to work fine. I then tested all other variants (default liveries and Ryanair) and they all have issues with the click-spots. I'll stick to the 800 for now then :) Cheers,Andrew Baker.

I think this was coincidental Andrew. Had to do with your position being shifted in the VC and click spot blocked by another element.

OK thanks I'll have a go at moving the view further away from the seat behind me, I presume its the seat that is blocking yes? Moving the view with EZdok doesn't seem to help, do I have to move the eye point in the aircraft.cfg?

Ok I'm having problems with this, I've uninstalled EZdok an restored all the configs first then reinstalled the NGX but I still cannot click on a huge amount of the controls in the VC, nearly everything on the MCP is INOP. Even the 800 that I said was working above earlier has stopped working now too. I've also noticed that sometimes when loading the aircraft that the sounds do not work properly either, for example its silent apart from the switch sounds of the switches that do still work. I really cant understand this, why do some switches work and others not? Cheers,Andrew Baker.

did you rerun ezcaConfig.exe after you installed the ngx?

Yes I did straight after my first install of the 737 this morning. I've removed EZCA now and it still wont work even after restoring all the config files with the restore option in the EZCA config utility. Cheers,Andrew Baker

I've done some more testing and still cannot get this working. I intentionally moved my view point with the default move eye point keys i.e. shift/ctrl and enter and backspace to put my view point in the seat back and sure enough none of the click spots in the VC work. I then moved my view point back out of the seat and some of the VC click spots then start work again apart from the ones that I cannot get to work at all. It's very strange that I managed to get them working that one time in the 800 but I've never been able to repeat it since. It also will not make any sounds at all internally, by that I mean things like switches, the avionics cooling fans, the flap handle etc, they are silent, all I am hearing is the engine sounds. I've reinstalled about 6 times now Am I looking at a complete reinstall of FSX? And what is to stop this from happening again if I put EZdok back on again along with TrackIR5? Andrew Baker.

I've no idea what 6 7 and 8 are I've not had time to read any of the documentation fully due to trying to get this expensive paper weight working properly.

I tried it with both EZdok and without. However, after installing liveries it seems to be working. Have no clue why, but it just does now. Completed the tutorial part 1 flight about an hour ago, Im in love with this plane...seriously. Im also enjoying hand flying again. Got so used to the micro management of the MD-11, I forgot how fun and challenging hand flying was, this bird handles almost too good compared to the md and 747. Have you tried installing liveries yet, rebooting system, etc?

The 2D MCP popup spot doesn't work here on a regular basis. Maybe I'm missing something, as it would work at other times.
