Sure. Save your default flight with engines running. Then switch to the NGx from select airplane

I am having a similar problem with the Load Panel State. I've lost the "Read for Takeoff" option in the Load Panel State page. It disappeared when I saved my own panel state. The only 4 panel states in the load menu are as follows: NEW <-------This is the panel state I created and saved myselfNGX CLDDRKNGX LONGNGX SHORT The "Ready for Takeoff" state is no longer in the list. Could it have gotten overwritten when I saved my new panel state? There is no other page, this is page 1/1 in the Panel State Load screen. I tried many times with different liveries but the "Ready for Takeoff" load state has disappeared from all liveries. And also something else I've noticed is the first time I load a panel state from the CDU the "EXEC" button on the FMS does not illuminate...but I click it and the panel state loads fine. Then on all subsequent panel loads during the same session the "EXEC" button does illuminate. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes. I have the same problem. Very frustrating. Don

Did you save any new panel states before noticing that option is missing?I think there may be a bug where panel load states are being overwritten if all the parameters are the same? For example, I loaded the "Ready for Takeoff" panel state via the CDU. Then without changing any parameters I went ahead and saved the panel state under a new name. Now the "Ready for Takeoff" panel state is no longer coming up in the list. Seems to have been replaced by the new panel state I saved. Just want to say this aircraft has been performing wonderfully without any other problems so far...knock on wood!

I'm having the same problem w/the saved panel states not actually saving all the various setting/switch states. Most notably, the engines aren't running, though they were when I saved the state. Also, I saved a state once I'd gotten through completely setting up the FMC & cockpit for the tutorial flight, but when I loaded it again, a bunch of the perf int data was zeroed out again. Could this have been because my engines weren't running? Ideally, I'd be able to load a panel state and get back to an exact snapshot of where I was when I last saved it. This would be really helpful when time is short and I need to work on my flying skills. Maybe it's just my rig, but right now it doesn't work this way.

I cannot save my panel state either no matter what I do. It just does show up in the list even after saying it saved it.

I have also got no Ready for Takeoff panel state showing. I also cannot fathom out from the introduction whether a panel state I load from another aircraft can be saved as the panel state for the aircraft I have loaded it into and if it can will the registration be changed to the the current aircraft. Several reads of the relevant sections of the Introduction have not given me an answer.
