August 5, 201114 yr Did you read the introduction? Lots of important information there. Also: http://forum.avsim.n...racking-thread/ George Morris
August 5, 201114 yr Commercial Member You need to open the livery manager, then select in the list what aircraft, then click the button to load the livery file you just downloaded (after you unzipped it)
August 5, 201114 yr Author I found the add on manager in my start menu but how do I get the downloaded liveries to show up there
August 5, 201114 yr Author What introduction? I bought the $400.00 set of manuals but cant find the area for the add on manager
August 5, 201114 yr Commercial Member All of this is in the introduction PDF, I suggest reading it because it sounds like you'll have a lot more issues later. Find a place to UNZIP the liveries you just downloaded, they should be *.PTP files Then open the LIVERY MANAGER (not addon manager lol).. and CLICK on a variant (IE... "800NGX WL") THEN... press "Select Livery to install" and find the .PTP files to install.
August 5, 201114 yr Author Thanks for the help---I do not have any PDF Introduction files--I will wait for things to calm down prior to more questions--it is a great plane--much like the real one from which I retired
August 5, 201114 yr Commercial Member Dorn,Look in your Start Menu under PMDG Simulations\PMDG 737 NGX - there should be a link named "NGX Introduction". The PDF files themselves are in FSX\PMDG\PMDG 737NGX\Flight Manuals. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
August 6, 201114 yr Author Ryan Thanks a lot---this is the most cool and absolutely fascinating aircraft model ever---I am so very excited---I often have people over for dinner and when the talk turns to flying someone always wants to know what it's like to actually fly an airliner--or they have some question about some aspect of an airline flight that they want to better understand--Now--I have the tools to recreate a VERY REALISTIC short flight for them-- I can use Mega Scenery and Radar Contact and EZDOK and they can have a true virtual flight seen/heard from all perspectives---you guys have done and absolutely masterful piece of work!! Thanks and thanks and thanks Dorn Cranert
