  1. I find it quite interesting how you cherry pick the worst possible views of our products to compare 😂. Our customers love 90's modeling. As you can see below, here's more of our mediocre 90's modeling with blurry textures that somehow is very successful: By the way.. while you're already on the your way to finding more mediocre screenshots.. let me tell you more about the fantastic 90s. We had great music.. and especially movies. I wouldn't hesitate to travel back in time either to the 90s, maybe taking some of this 90's 3d art with me 😆
  2. Hi aniiran, I was just speaking about the objects, not about any color correction, which has no performance hit. Feedback like that are all jotted down on a working list that go into the next update. I’m always looking for comments like that, which is why I lurk on AVSIM and other forums 😄 It helps improve the product over time.
  3. This is actually correct. There was a lot of dialog in the P3D days. There is a little bit now, mostly between partners only.. but for the most part it's a free-for-all. You will soon see 3-4 versions of each airport probably in the next few years. I would get used to this now before it becomes shocking. We're also going after other developer airports as well, unless I have a back-channel open with them. It's a two way road 🙂 This is an area that I intentionally left as simple looking. Our customers, for the most part, have absolutely no interest in flying military aircraft, like a c-130 from MSP airport. So I've diverted all resources and texture budgets over to the civilian side. Those C-130's with 20k polygons+, trucks and default MSFS fuel trucks from AMSIM screenshots look cute, but that's a performance penalty I'm not pushing onto customers, especially if 99% of them are never going to be visiting this ramp on their usual flights. Instead, I put all resources here, gate-side, where players are the most: Customers boast about good performance at our KMSP airport. If we push the same detail at the military ramps and all other remote areas.. that performance luxury is long gone. However, a brand new interior is going into all these terminals in a matter of weeks. It's extensively optimized though, so there is no performance penalty at all. Flightbeam announced KMSP airport for MSFS on our roadmap at least 2 years ago. 😎
  4. Hello, I'm not sure what you are seeing, but the gate numbers are definitely numbered correctly with the correct concourse designation in the product, as you can see in the following screenshots. Be sure you have excluded KMSP from GSX, as you're probably having other issues as well.. like GSX jetways instead of our custom KMSP ones. Alternatively, if GSX isn't the culprit, it may be leftover KMSP freeware, if you have downloaded that in the past.
  5. It's coming. Understandable that lots of assumptions are made since there's little info, and I apologize for that. This is by design due to competition. Also, I've stopped pumping out previews due to whiners a few months back complaining that the shots "looked finished" and the product should've been released. Literally every pre-release screenshot I've posted dating 10 years back "looks finished", that doesn't mean the product is finished. FYI, SFO only went into full production earlier this year, April 2023. There was some side work being done on it from some contractors before that, but nothing serious. It hasn't been in production for years, despite some claims. This KSFO version is nearly a complete re-build.. yes, that takes time with the quality level that is about to be delivered. It will release this year. KMSP is in pre-production and will take a fraction of that time since all the assets are already complete, and it's NOT a re-build like KSFO.
  6. Hey guys. SEQM was developed by DreamFlight, not myself. It was simply published on Flightbeam. You could drop a message over to DF and see if there's any word on SEQM for MSFS. Hot tip: You can check to see who the dev is for each airport, on the product page: https://www.flightbeam.net/product-page/seqm-for-prepar3d Hope this helps!
  7. Well this is currently the problem, customers want endless updates to all airports, all at the same time, for free. The Concourse B expansion update took about 4 months to create, and released for free. What you are demanding would require paid updates from customers, and this would cause an uproar, so unfortunately that is not possible. Free update is the only option.. and that requires funding from sales. This takes time. As far as SFO, many customers have been asking for screenshots as regular updates. So don't post anymore screenshots, keep customers in the dark and just release the scenery as a surprise? Like I mentioned, appreciate your feedback as a customer but there is a certain way I do things. They will not change because they are the reason Flightbeam has survived for so long and has accumulated 40,000 customers.
  8. Hello aniiran, thanks for your feedback. However there is some serious misleading statements in your post. KDEN - Denver received a massive update just a few months ago, did you not see this? https://www.flightbeam.net/post/kden-v1-1-0-msfs-is-now-live I'm curious to where you're getting your news from? KDEN is getting a staggered update due to the complexity of the new construction. I've not only updated Concourse B, but also completely revamped and updated the modeling and texturing of most of the terminals. All of this, for free. Next up is the massive extension to Concourse A and C, which takes quite a long time to develop, but will be done of course, for free.KSFO is currently in full production, with high priority. Sorry, but I will never rush my products. I have a large number of very loyal and demanding customers who appreciate both quality and performance, and this takes time. As far as KPDX, unfortunately that is a third party developer (iBlueYonder) and not a Flightbeam creation, so it's up to that developer to update the airport. For Flightbeam airports, I've removed static models for almost all airports per customer feedback.
  9. Hey guys! So I've received some interesting messages recently and been seeing some head-scratching comments 😄 Let's clear the air: Congrats to BMWorld and AMSim for their release! No.. I am not "mad" or displeased. It's a free market, any developer can create whatever they want. The notion that we "planted" our flag at KPHX is completely laughable. The reason KPHX even got on our roadmap is by customer demand. So I put it on the roadmap - it's really quite that simple. It was never reserved, or expected to be held up by Flightbeam. These guys have released it first, so now all the folks that wanted PHX badly can now enjoy it, this is great! It's also truly sad seeing some toxic comments like that mention customer have "lost my business". Flightbeam has been serving the FS Community since 2010, and I make sure every product is kept up to date by providing free updates since the inception of this business. It's already quite well known that I don't rush products. Every single product takes a long time, because I put a lot of care and detail into it. So yes, things are going to take time, that is the reality of high quality products. Other developers have 100% right to work on our roadmap airports in the meantime. It's not going to change much for me, they're still going to be released with the expected Flightbeam level of quality, performance and updates. The same thing goes for other devs, we will be working on airports you may have already released. In the meantime, thumbs up to BMWorld for the great rendition of PHX! You should purchase and support this, and any other developer you want if you enjoy this hobby. It keeps the addon market going strong.
  10. It's a massive update, provided for free ... I literally do not understand how a customer can already have doubts or possible discontents about a free update. Alas, this is the current market.
  11. That's precisely what this KDEN update is going to achieve. There are no ridiculous coffee shops, or deep interior models that are invisible from aircraft. Everything being added can be seen from the Flight Deck. The purpose of this is to give the aircraft at the gates more immersion, you will see these details along with sitting/standing passengers, plus passengers on the move walking about. Additionally all of this detail is highly LOD optimized, if you turn away or move further away from the terminal, all these details disappear without you noticing. Only sections of terminals that you approach will load interior details. I think those who have been following my work for a while know I hate waste of interior modeling, especially things like check-in stands that cannot be seen from an aircraft. The only exception may be ATC tower interiors, because these spots serve a purpose for online communities.
  12. Dang. That's a nice screenshot. Thanks for sharing! Also, much appreciate your purchase - this goes to all who support my work: I really appreciate your purchase. I see familiar names ordering and many of these names age back to the mid to early 2010s - thank you so much. It makes a big difference purchasing from the developer directly. Also really glad you're enjoying the product. It's just a monumental amount of work. Enjoy!
  13. You should’ve contacted us right away. If your points just expired I’d be glad to put them right back into your account.
  14. Hello Mike, that is a different developer, iBlueYonder. FYI he is currently running a beta with a fix implemented, should be out pretty soon actually. If you have any questions about the six you could also just contact them directly: https://iblueyonder.com/
  15. That is incorrect. Only ONE of our airports has missing SIDs, that is KPDX. And the developer (iBlueYonder) is currently running a beta which contains the fix. Please don't spread misinformation.
  16. Hello Jerry, If you see default buildings after installing KSFO, it's likely due to conflicting addons. It's likely you have Orbx Norcal, a KSFO AFCAD downloaded from AVSIM library or a different KSFO addon installed. You can use your Addons and Scenery Library tools in P3D to disable suspected addons to see which one it is. Our forums have a pretty clear message at the top. That's why we have a support system in which we respond to every email. We did not receive an email from you.
  17. Hi all, This may, or may not be related to the original issue. We recently discovered a new issue with the sim, particularly if you have Navigraph installed (which has been causing us all kinds of headaches). It appears that no matter the priority the product is in, Navigraph navdata will overwrite our custom ILS data. This has been very problematic with our current production of NZAA. Asobo has acknowledged the issue and is currently looking into it. Symptoms of this issue: random CTDs and/or invalid ILS data. Apart from that, we currently do not have any issues with ILS, if there are no issues with a duplicate KDEN. One last thing, if you need help removing Asobo's KDEN, it's a bit tricky now since SU5, there's a helpful FAQ post on how to do this: https://shop.flightbeam.net/apps/help-center#hc-kden-msfs-conflicts-with-asobo-kden
  18. KPHX is not really "low priority", it's already work in progress and will be out this year.
  19. Hello Darryl, So there is the issue then. Sante is no longer working at Flightbeam, and I'm not sure where Thomas sent the email but he's definitely not the support center. To get proper support you'll need to head over to our support page. A few ways, just click "Support" on the menu from our website or shop.. or visit this link directly: https://shop.flightbeam.net/apps/help-center At the bottom there is a contact link which emails our support staff, your issue will then be tracked and will be responded to. Hope this helps!
  20. We respond to all emails promptly. When did you send us a message and to which address? I don't see anything regarding this issue in our inboxes.
  21. They broke "hand-crafted" airport exclusions in the Japan update, we're not sure why. So at this point we're likely back to making sure the other version is disabled.
  22. Hi there, just a quick heads up that both Asobo KDEN and Flightbeam KDEN are showing in this screenshot (double buildings). It's easy to fix this: https://shop.flightbeam.net/apps/help-center#hc-kden-msfs-terrain-issues-since-patch-5 Clear skies :)
  23. We haven't able to test yet since it has yet to be distributed to developers.
  24. Several issues happening. Just the main ones here: - alignment is off at many airports - ILS is not activating correctly on approach to addon airports According to Asobo the new ILS editor will solve these and more issues (for addon airports)
  25. It really depends on what it's replacing. Asobo's KDEN was a big headache to remove, perhaps since it's "handcrafted". You will need to check for others. Things to look out for: - duplicate buildings - terrain anomalies
