I have downloaded it but did not install it. I was hoping for the VC mouse move and scroll wheel like the payware program, but it appears not to be that- maybe in a future development.

Merci for le heads up. I was very sad when AC went payware since there is no way I am forking out for a utility my best mate could build in two hours. Then again, since he hasn't, I'll content myself with this little widget FSCamera...;)

I am not sure, but use Active Camera 1.3, its still free and you can get it from AVSIM.

Hi Simmers, I must be missing something?This sounds like what I've always wanted, a flyby view. Dl last night.Put exe and icon in fs9 dir. Fsuipc into modules. Started fscamera. Started fs. After takoff nothing changes in tower view. Alt-tab out shows fscam with runtime error -6.Started fs first, then fscam. Still nothing changes with tower view?Help, anyone?

Nope, 1.3 crashes FS9, well crashed mine anyways.That's odd, it worked fine for me, doing the same things you said.

I'm no good at translating from German but I wonder if it has anything to do with FSUIPC and registering FScamera with it?I have a registered version of FSUIPC and FS camera works OK here, at least the little play I have had with it. When in tower view if I bring up FSCamera and change the distance then I see that change in FS in tower view.Not tried the other options yet.Rgds

I can translate some German and what I got from it was that it will work the Free version as well as the registered.
