Alternate TO/GA Spot on MCP

Featured Replies

First, phenominal job folks! I haven't been this giddy since after a 45 min classroom, yet 3 hour flight, the inspector told me I passed my CFII. The NGX is truly a work of art.Only thing I've noticed thus far (that hasn't already made it into your known issues), is very minor. On page 108 you address the alternate TO/GA spot on the MCP. I'd recommend having the mouse cursor change icon to a button push, or even more easy, make a note in the introduction document that there will be no mouse cursor change, but the click spot is there.I spent about 10 minutes in all levels of zoom and angles getting the mouse cursor to change, before blindly clicking. Just a thought.Anyway, again great job! Looking forward to further expansions and releases!Regards,

Dan, That's odd. The cursor always changes to a button push on that spot for me. Sometimes it takes a second.

You're right. Just did another flight, and took my time to move the mouse and pause for a couple seconds in the area of the clickspot. This time saw the mouse change. Guess I was looking for an instantaneous change before. Though, playing around with a bit, unless you get very close to that area before you pause (on a 2560x1600 display), it won't show. Perhaps make the area a bit larger? At least I know where exactly to point now. Again, a phenomenal bird! Disregard... Fly Safe,

I found the click spot on the MCP for TA/GA in the VC. I can't find it in the 2D panel. Does anyone know if their is a click spot in the 2D panel for TA/GA? Thank youMichael Cubine

The TO/GA click spot is indeed there in the 2D panel, just to the right of the lower left MCP screw.
