August 7, 201114 yr Ok so this is what happened when I tried to install a CO Airlines livery for the 737-900WL following all instructions given in the manual: And then, when I attempted to open up the livery manager again, the -900WL was MISSING! HELP PLEASE! What's going on here? Dylan Jutagir
August 7, 201114 yr Author Ok, just tried to install an -800WL livery and look: This is starting to get quite distressing. If anyone from PMDG could have a look at this that would be great! Dylan Jutagir
August 7, 201114 yr It seems you can't have two aircraft.cfg and aircraft old.cfg files together, only one, then it will work. Alfredo Croci Pulverstrasse 8 P.O.Box 71 3048 Worblaufen Switzerland Tel. +4131 9219231 [email protected]
August 8, 201114 yr Author Ok... so, delete the old one? It seems you can't have two aircraft.cfg and aircraft old.cfg files together, only one, then it will work. I'm not exactly sure what to do here, sorry. Could you explain? Dylan Jutagir
August 8, 201114 yr Author I have restored the aircraft.cfg files to their original state and the aircraft have appeared back in the livery manager. But i still wont risk running it again until I figure out why the manager stopped working. Dylan Jutagir
August 8, 201114 yr Commercial Member I'm going to be putting up a post/FAQ shortly about livery issues. This is corrupted aircraft.cfg stuff stemming from the read-only files that accidentally went out with the RTM version of the plane. August 8, 201114 yr As Stated above the Aircraft.cfg is in read only mode. Right click it and take off the read only flag. Second make sure you are only installing one type of Livery at a time. Do not try to install 800, 800WL, 900 or 900WL together. For Example if you have 5 800WL, 3 900WL and 1 800 and 1 900. First click the 800WL from the list and install the 5 800WL then go back and install the 3 900WL, then install the 1 800 and then install the 1 900. I tried installing them all together at one time. This does not work. So be sure you only installing one aircraft group type at a time.Just a heads up for anyone who has Activesky like me and wants to install the Xgauge weather panel in the 737-NGX. Be sure to find your panel.cfg file and take the read only flag off or Activesky will not be able to install the panel. There is a panel.cfg file for each of the 4 aircraft. Paul Deemer

I've done all these steps already, but thanks for your input. The thing is, the Livery manager literally stops working before I can install one, let alone 5 liveries. I just have no clue what's causing this.As you can see from the top screenshot, it stops working while in the process of installing. Then, it wipes the corresponding aircraft.cfg file completely and I have to use the file restore tool to get it back. This is what caused the disappearance of the aircraft from the list of variants.
